Our tiny farm a few months later

It's been a while since we've shown you how our plot at the Cobleskill Community Garden is doing. Well, everything has taken off like crazy! Well, except for our lettuce, that rascally groundhog who lives under the shed thinks our lettuce is quite a tasty treat. Saturday Jon and I went and picked up M for some quality time with Cool Jon and Miss Kate at the garden. It was so fun.

The garden was in need of some serious TLC. Jon got a little carried away while he was weeding and discovered a baby carrot.

Jon and M picked some basil so we could make some pesto. Our basil bushes are huge! M thought this was a good time, until he thought he could pick any leaf. Oh well.

And, while we were weeding I pulled some of our onions! They are awesome. I can't wait until our tomatoes come in. Trust me when I tell you that when our tomatoes are ready, our garden will be overflowing with the tasty red fruit. We had to tie up the tomato plants they are so plentiful. Which means, that we will be canning tomatoes like it's nobodies business. Yay!
