Craft Swap!

During my semi-regular blog browsing I found myself at Our Yellow House and Leah was in the midst of organizing a craft swap. Say what?! Sign me up!

Leah, a mom and crafter extraordinaire, had organized swaps in the past, but felt this would be a good way to beat the oh-my-god-is-winter-over-yet blues. And, she was so right.

I was so excited about the darn thing that I ended up finishing my four projects before I found out who my craft pal was. I got paired with a lovely woman from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I mailed her a super soft crocheted hat, a delicious vegan cookie recipe (I'll share it sometime with you), a felted needle book and an embroidered card.

Yesterday, I got my package from her - three knit washcloths, a coffee sleeve, and an awesome crochet hook case complete with crochet hooks! The hook case is perfect for me because I'm constantly losing my hooks and blaming the dog :) I love the yarns and fabrics Tricia used, they're so bright and springy. This is my coffee sleeve being put to good use.
