Did you ever wonder why/how people think camping is romantic?I present to you the double mummy bag!
I returned the zero-degree sleeping bag to EMS and ended up getting a North Face women's Cat's Meow 20-degree bag. As it turns out Jon has the guys version of this - score! (We will admit we're coming dangerously close to becoming 'that couple,' you know, the ones who have matching sleeping bags and life jackets). Whoever engineers the sleeping bags at North Face was a thinker - they made it so you can zip the men's and women's bags together for an extra snuggly night in the woods!
Of course when we got home I had to try this out, and Grania (better known as Gronny, our 12-year-old English/Australian Shepherd) decided that she needed to get in on the fun. So, this is our family photo enjoying the coziness of a double mummy bag.
